Littleborough Community Primary School
|
|
Littleborough community primary school contacted us to ask that we transform a secret garden area of the school. The area was overgrown with weeds and needed to be cleared first of all.
After the area was cleared we had a blank canvas on which to plan our design. A meeting with the Eco Committee was arranged and different ideas were put forward. The final design, as can be seen in the pictures includes raised beds to enable the children to grow veg, a sensory garden and also seating areas. Both the children and adults now use the area for education and relaxation

Sudden Roundabout Improvement
Working in conjunction with the Highways agency and Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council TLS were able to prune trees and shrubbery around new light columns at one of Rochdale Busiest Junctions. The improved safety to both road users and pedestrians were felt immediately.
The project involved TLS controlling traffic and using multiple types of vehicle to ensure the project was finished in a timely fashion and with minimal disruption. |

Reclaiming Railway Sleepers
Using reclaimed railway sleepers this clients garden was transformed into what you can see below. Before we did the work the complaints were that the area was slippy underfoot and constantly wet.
Retaining walls were installed to create a split level garden and gravel was used in areas to aid drainage.
